Before the actual microdermabrasion, the skin is thoroughly cleansed and prepared with an enzyme peel, which removes the first dead skin cells. Then the device is applied: A special vacuum compressed air system applies fine sand grains to the skin. This loosens dead skin cells and sucks them away again via the vacuum.
