Polynucleotides
Polynucleotides are chains of nucleotides, the building blocks of DNA and RNA, which act as biostimulators and promote the body's own regeneration processes, such as collagen production and cell repair. They are obtained from natural sources, mainly marine fish (e.g. salmon), purified and injected into the skin to improve skin structure, increase moisture and treat scars. Polynucleotides are biocompatible, well tolerated and aim to achieve lasting skin improvement rather than just filling effects.
How do polynucleotides work in the skin?
- Stimulation of cell renewal: They activate fibroblasts and other cells, leading to increased collagen and hyaluronic acid production.
- Promotion of repair: This supports the repair of damaged skin cells and promotes the formation of new connective tissue.
- Increased moisture: The increased hyaluronic acid production improves moisture supply and increases skin volume.
For the eye area, we work with PhilArt Eye. This is an innovative treatment based on polynucleotides, which has been specially developed for the sensitive skin around the eyes. It supports cell regeneration, provides intensive moisture and visibly improves skin quality – for an alert, fresh look.
